Abstracts Review Process
The abstract review process has finished, and all authors will receive outcome notifications via email progressively in the upcoming weeks. The results will also be posted on our conference website for your reference at a later time.
Submission of Manuscripts
The conference proceedings of BECoME-2025 will be published as a Virtual Special Issue (VSI) of Marine Ecosystems as part of an initiative to support the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development. Participants can submit their manuscript for this VSI via one of the following three Elsevier journals, Journal of Marine Systems, Marine Environmental Research, and Regional Studies in Marine Science. The submission will close on 31 December 2025. All submitted manuscripts will be subject to the journals’ standard peer-review procedures.
Accepted manuscripts will first be published as regular papers in standard issues of these journals, and then will be compiled into the VSI once all accepted articles are ready for assemblage. This VSI will also serve as an Ocean Decade VSI on Marine Ecosystems (i.e., Biodiversity, Ecology and Conservation).
